CMD-1 desk console

Know the moment your agents need you.

CMD-1 is a small console for your desk and an app for your computer. The app keeps track of your agent sessions, CI runs, code reviews and long shell jobs. When one of them needs a decision, it shows up on the console's screen, so you can keep working until then.

01 · Notice

You find out without checking.

Your agents and builds keep running on your machine. When one stops to ask for something, CMD-1 shows what it needs on its own screen, and you can finish the thought you're on before you look.

02 · Select

Answer from the desk.

Six Hall-effect keys and a clicking dial take you to the item that's waiting. You can approve or reject it right there, or open the exact diff in the editor where the work lives.

03 · Built for the desk

Made to sit next to your keyboard.

The enclosure is printed, the base is steel, and the 4.3-inch IPS display sits behind smoked acrylic. Inside is a four-layer board built around the Raspberry Pi RP2350. It runs off one USB-C cable.

Stop leaving your work to check on it.

When you run a few agents at once, you end up checking on them all day. You switch to a terminal to see if a session is stuck, open GitHub to see if a review came in, then look at CI to see whether the build passed. Each check pulls you out of what you were doing, and getting back into it takes a while.

The CMD-1 app runs in the background on your computer and does that checking for you. It only sends something to the console when you're needed, like an agent waiting for approval, a review request or a failed build. Everything else stays out of your way.

When you pick something up, the app opens the right workspace, file or log, so you don't have to hunt for where you left off.

What it keeps track of.

  1. Agent sessions

Coding agents waiting for your approval, input or review.

  2. Code reviews

Pull requests where someone asked for your review.

  3. CI & workflows

Builds and deploys that pass, fail or get stuck.

  4. Shell & Git jobs

Long commands that finish while you're working on something else.
